Three pieces from contrasting periods chosen by the applicant. The audition should include one work from the Renaissance/Baroque period. Below are some repertoire suggestions:

• A movement from a work by J.S. 巴赫 or Silvius Leopold Weiss, or a Renaissance work – for example, a composition by John Dowl和, Luis de Narvaez, 弗朗西斯科·达·米兰, 或者路易斯·德·米兰
• A 19th-century work originally written for the guitar, e.g.:
  • An étude by Fern和o Sor
  • One of the Minuets, op. 15 by Wenzeslaus Matiegka
  • One of the Divertimenti, op. 37或op. 40 by Mauro Giuliani
  • 夜曲op. 4, no. 2, Andantino; Fingals-Höhle, op. 13 (Bardenklänge), no. 5a; or Romanze, op. 13, no. 10a by Johann Kaspar Mertz
  • A prelude by Heitor Villa-Lobos, or two preludes by 曼努埃尔·庞塞

• Optional: One additional selection representing your musical interests 和/or a work by a composer from a historically underrepresented racial/ethnic group, 性别, 和/或文化. Works that represent the applicant’s own cultural background are also welcomed.
